Lead Your Own Adventure

In the nearly 88 years of PASC State Convention history, none have been hosted by a charter school, nor has there been a virtual option. The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School and Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School are proud to change this as the hosts of the upcoming PASC State Convention, taking place November 1st and 2nd of 2024. Based out of Midland, these two diverse schools opened in the early 2000s in order to rescue the borough from an economic depression following the closing of the local high school. Both schools have attended several PASC conventions over the years, with Lincoln Park even having hosted the Region A Spring Convention in February of 2020.

The 2024 convention theme of “Lead Your Own Adventure” takes inspiration from Choose Your Own Adventure fantasy books. Its co-chairs are Abigail Arnold, Lanie Fichtenmayer, and Abagayle Kane from PA Cyber and Kaitlyn Zele, Hoby Schweikert, and Kathryn Znaczko from Lincoln Park. Leaders across the state the state are invited to attend the convention either in-person with Lincoln Park on their campus in Midland or online with PA Cyber via Zoom.
